I’m almost done with week 1! I can’t believe it?! I have added in a cup of green tea to my days as I needed something hot to sip on through the day and my hot lemon water hasn’t been doing it for me. So I have some decaf herbal peppermint tea and I’ve been adding in a 1/2 tsp raw honey to my first cup each day. Then just adding in more water throughour the day as needed. It has been my lifesaver away from coffee.
Breakfast today was NOT satisfying at all and I left a little Tempeh on my plate cause I just couldn’t finish it. I think it was my fault, I marinated it way too long and it was way too salty (marinade had Bragg’s liquid amino). I did like the texture and nutty favor the Tempeh had, so I will definitely give this one a try again 😉 Baked Tempeh, Steamed Kale, and 15 raw almonds (breaksfast was with Avocado, but I under bought).
Lunch was so good and so HUGE again, but I was hungry after this breakfast so I ate all of it in about 30 minutes!! Micro green salad and Quinoa salad 🙂
Dinner was good but small compared to the huge meals we have been eating. Even so small I was satisfied at the end. I forgot to get a picture in before I inhaled the whole thing, 2 of my favorite menu options ~ Roasted Root Medley w/beets, onions, carrots, and sweet potatoes and Zucchini Cashew Soup. Yum, Yum!!
