I can’t believe this is the end of my final weekend on the Reset! I’m so excited because I am so close to being done, which means I will have made it through the 21-days. I avoided doing this reset for over a year now because I was fearful of failure. I cook one meal and everybody eats it, the problem with the reset is that there are some very different meals and I wasn’t ready to battle them with my younger kids! So for these 21-days I have been cooking for me and my hubby and then another meal for my kids. That’s not easy when you’re also doing other things to manage your home and attend activities and run a business. I was consumed in the kitchen for these 21-days, but I did it! Well almost, I have 2 days left 😉
Breakfast was another Vegan Chocolate ShakeO with frozen raspberries. Lunch was Hearty Veggie Miso Soup and Micro Green salad. Dinner was Roasted Beets and Braised Collard Greens with Smoked Tempeh.
I don’t feel like I have lost weight, but I have. My clothes don’t feel too different and the progress pics I have been taken don’t look much different. The point of these 21-days was to prove to myself that I could do it. I could make a drastic change in my diet and be ok. My eating had gotten way out of hand after summer had ended and I just wanted to cleanse. Reboot my body to a spot where I would feel good. Wake up feeling good and go to sleep feeling good. No aches or pains anywhere. I think I accomplished that and I’m feeling very proud of myself.
